Three Gears of War: Judgment Team Members Leave People Can Fly

It’s looking to be an unfortunate time period in the video game development industry right now. There are people leaving projects, others leaving studios, and more recently we’ve lost someone very dear to the community. This trend is continuing with People Can Fly, the studio behind the upcoming Gears of War: Judgment title.

Epic Games’ President Mike Capps made this news apparent in an official statement:

“Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski and Michal Kosieradzki have parted ways with People Can Fly and Epic Games in order to pursue other opportunities, which they will announce of their own accord. Over the past decade, they have been instrumental in building People Can Fly into the talented team that it is today. We wish them well in their future endeavors. People Can Fly remains excited to release Gears of War: Judgment to fans early next year.”

For those weary of how the title will turn out, Chmielarz posted via Twitter that Judgment, according to him, is “in great hands.” He also says that we’ll be hearing more about the game and its future “soon enough.” We haven’t really heard anything from the other two guys who decided to take their leave, but we’re keeping open ears.
