Torchlight 2 Release Date Is September 20th
We’ve known about Torchlight 2 for a while now, but what we haven’t known is just how long it’s going to be before the game is launched. We were hoping to have the game out earlier this year, but last month Runic Games confirmed that they were still polishing the game, and that it would still be some time before we saw it.
Well now the company has decided that the game is nearly ready, and has announced the official release date. With little more than a simple post on their own forums, Travis Baldree announced that the game will be released on Thursday, September 20th. That’s just three weeks away.
If you haven’t pre-ordered the game, I highly recommend doing so. Head to Steam, toss down your $20, and you’ll not only get access to Torchlight 2 on the 20th, but you’ll get a copy of the original game right now. It is a giftable copy, so you can surprise a friend with it, if it’s already in your collection.
