Assassin’s Creed III Gets A New TV Trailer

Ubisoft released a new TV trailer for Assassin’s Creed today, showing off more of what we’ve already seen in terms of gameplay and setting, but allowing a bit of the voice acting to come through.  Connor sounds as young as Ezio in the trailer, though much more level-headed than his predecessor.

Connor is shown without his hood in the trailer (much to the delight of squeeing fangirls everywhere), and can be seen running through Boston and the wilderness.  The Assassin’s tomahawk discriminates against no one as he slices through British soldiers and bears with relative ease.  A tense narrative establishes that Connor is “destined to lead us to freedom”, hinting that Connor might not be as neutral as Ubisoft has made him out to be when it comes to his national alliances.

Assassin’s Creed III is due out on Xbox and PS3 on October 30th, with the PC version pushed back three weeks later.
