Synthetic Benchmarks

The first two tests we run are synthetic. While we know that most gamers want to see real-world tests, these do provide an interesting look at the performance capabilities of the hardware. We won’t go into much commentary with these. First up is FutureMark’s 3DMark 11. We tested on the “Performance” and “Extreme” presets.

The next synthetic test is the Heaven DX11 Benchmark. This is probably the most taxing test, as it uses hardware tessellation to an extreme that isn’t really seen on the market currently.
