Steam Looking For Play Testers

If you were to ask a kid what they wanted to be when they grew up, my guess is that “video game tester” would probably be right near the top of the list for most. Now while it might sound fun to play games all day, testing them out before they’re released on the public, for the most part the job isn’t nearly as good as you might think thanks in part to the fact that many companies aren’t exactly great places to work at. Luckily, Valve seems to be the exception,  and you might just get a chance to live out that dream with Valve!

That’s because Valve is now asking for volunteers to be playtesters for both released and unreleased games, and also hardware prototypes. At this point in time they’re looking for people local to the Seattle/Bellevue area, though they may have remote playtests in the future so as long as you’re in the USA you can sign up!

I’m not going to lie, I’d love to get a chance to try out some of the hardware they have cooking up in headquarters! We’ve heard rumors of both wearable computers as well as Steam “consoles” in the past, and just getting to try some of this stuff out would be amazing. If you want to sign up for the survey just go to this link here and take the survey!
