Capcom Planning To Bring Resident Evil: Revelations To Consoles

According to a ratings listing spotted by NeoGAF, Resident Evil: Revelations looks like it will be coming to consoles. There are two separate listing on the Korean Ratings Board for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. It will be making the dynamic jump from its original 3DS home platform.

Resident Evil: Revelations received strong reviews, and it’s been listed in one of the top ten games on the 3DS to pick up. Where entries like Resident Evil 5 and 6 are more focused on action, Revelations keeps the ties to the older games in the series, especially Resident Evil 4.

Capcom hasn’t made any official announcement yet though we’re anxiously awaiting word from them. I think bringing Revelations over to consoles will help buff the series, and if it shows promise from the console crowd then maybe Capcom will take some notes. Resident Evil 6 hasn’t been terribly received, but a lot of players were put off by the game’s broken story and difficult gameplay. Let’s hope this will breathe some fresh air into the series.
