Free Far Cry 3 DLC Coming Exclusively To PS3
PS3 owners rejoice! Despite the fact that you’ve been basically screwed over when it comes to DLC in Skyrim, you can now lord over the Xbox 360 and PC owners some exclusive Far Cry 3 DLC. Not only that, but the DLC is free to boot!
Starting in January Ubisoft will be releasing 2 free co-op chapters. The DLC packs are titled Jailbreak and Redemption, and are set to take off where the original 6 co-op chapters left off. The DLC is set in the “gang’s final moments”, and will feature “new missions, tougher fights, bigger competitions, some great up-close time with your favorite characters, and explosive moments unlike anything you’ve seen before.”
So where does that leave Xbox 360 and PC fans of the game? Despite the fact that the DLC is “exclusive” to the PS3 it wouldn’t surprise me if after a few months we see them going up on the Marketplace and Steam. Either that, or those two platforms get their own exclusive DLC packs as well!
