Some things have a profound impact on our lives. Movies, games, and other forms of entertainment can leave such an imprint that we are inspired to do something great. Jurassic Park was kind of a big deal when it first came out in 1993, so it makes sense that it made left a big impression on a lot of people.
Apparently, it was awesome enough for a group of dedicated fans to put together a game for it over a decade later. It’s been built on a Half Life 2 mod, and has been dubbed Jurassic Life. The video below is a sampling of what six years of coding has brought.
Just watching it brings back memories from watching the movies. They state that this isn’t the final version, and it will be done when it’s done. You can follow their progress here, though don’t be disheartened if they don’t update constantly.
