Next Version Of Surgeon Simulator 2013 To Feature Brain Surgery

Do you remember Surgeon Simulator 2013? It’s the delightfully fun game developed over a weekend for the Global Game Jam where you’re tasked with performing a heart transplant. The only problem, of course, is that you’re not actually a transplant surgeon, but the janitor.

If you enjoyed that quirky little distraction then you’ll be glad to know that the people behind it are hard at work at expanding the game. According to the Steam Greenlight pre-release roadmap, the expanded game is gonna feature more locations, including emergency surgery in the back of a moving ambulance, more tools, achievements, and even more surgical procedures. You think a heart transplant was bad? Why not try out a brain transplant!

At this time there is no mention of a release date, but considering how fast the original heart transplant was created I’d have to guess it’d be soon. However, if that video is anything to go by it’s going to be a good bit of entertainment for what I assume to be a small amount of money. Until then, you can practice your hand at the original heart transplant right here!
