Capcom Announced Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies Release Date

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies has been out for awhile in Japan, but sadly the rest of the world has had to wait. It’s been known for a good long while that the game would be eventually making its wait to Europe and the Americas, but there just hasn’t been any information about when it would become available. Luckily, Capcom has finally announced when it will be coming out.

You’ll be able to download Dual Destinies on October 24th in the 3DS Nintendo eShop. If you’re hoping for a case and physical game to add to your shelf, you’re out of luck: the game will be coming in as a download only. However, that does bring the price down a little bit, as it’s being sold for $29.99 (€24.99)!

Capcom also let it be known that most of the DLC for the game would be making its way to the west as well. In particular, you’ll be able to get the costume pack as well as an additional episode, but there is one thing missing, the “quiz” DLC. When asked why they weren’t releasing that bit of DLC to the west, Capcom said that it had to do with the fact that it “requires an in-depth knowledge of Japanese culture.” Bummer.
