Well this is a familiar narrative! Ubisoft has confirmed that the Wii U version of Assassin’s Creed IVwill not be receiving any DLC whatsoever. Keep in mind that the Wii U version isn’t getting any sort of price reduction.
Ubisoft had revealed earlier in the week that ACIV was going to be getting a Season Pass like other AC games before it. The Season Pass features a single-player story about an ex-slave-turned-assassin named Adewale, as well as a variety of other missions, weapons, skins, what-have-you!
But since none of that is coming to the Wii U, the question remains: why get the Wii U version at all? Even if you’re not planning on getting the DLC at all, what happens if you change your mind one day and decide you want to play it? The Season Pass will be going for $19.99, which is a 20% savings compared to buying each pack separately.
