Are You Looking To Show Off Your Prowess On PS4? You’re Not Alone!
Last month saw the release of two brand new consoles, the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. To say that they’ve been successful is a bit of an understatement. After all, both consoles have over 1 million units sold each, but if you had to give a “winner” between the two right now you’d have to go with the PS4, as Sony has sold over 2.1 million units!
And folks really are enjoying their PlayStations! Sony announced yesterday that many folks are enjoying the Share button functionality, with people accessing it over 10.9 million times. While that might only average out to about 5 times per console, you gotta figure that while there are some people who never use the button, other folks are likely going nuts over the ability to share pictures and video to Facebook.
What’s more, Twitch streaming is really seeing a huge boost themselves! Over 10% of all content on Twitch since November 15th has been from PS4s. In fact, Twitch has even announced that they’ve had an increase in broadcasters from 600k to 700k ever since the launch of the PS4. That’s some pretty cool stuff, if I do say so myself!
