What Does GOG.com Let You Do That Steam Won’t? Return Games.

If you end up buying a game only to find that it’s crap, your options are generally limited. Placed like GameStop might let you return your console games, or at least exchange them, but if you’re on a PC forget it. Thanks to services like Steam, if you buy a game it’s forever tied to your account, meaning you can never get any money back off of it.

GOG.com however is looking to change that a little bit! As part of their new guarantee, if you find that a game you’ve bought off of them won’t work on your computer, and their support can’t fix the problem they’ll refund you the full cost of the game, no ifs, ands, or buts. Just make sure to contact them within 30 days of the purchase price!

What’s more, if you buy a game by mistake or change your mind, you can get a full refund within 14 days! Unfortunately, they won’t let you actually try the game out in that time. If you download the game, you’ll forfeit that 14 day guarantee. Still though, it’s pretty cool to see a service offer these options to folks!
