Yoda And Vader To Be Unlockable In Soul Calibur IV

Back when Soul Calibur IV was released, we were all disappointed to learn that Yoda and Darth Vader would only be playable on the consoles on which they launched. Namco Bandai even went so far as to tell us that at no point would these characters be available on the other consoles. We all suspected this was merely a ruse to throw us off, and we were correct.

Starting October 23rd, you will be able to unlock Yoda on the PS3, or Vader on your Xbox 360. The catch? You’ll need to shell out an extra $5 bucks to pit the Jedi Master against the Dark Lord of the Sith. When you consider the fact that the data for each character is already on the disc, it hardly qualifies as DLC, but I doubt that’ll stop many people from buying it.
