Steam For Mac Coming May 12

As an avid Mac user, I was more than a little excited about Valve’s announcement to bring their Steam platform to OSX. Being able to play any Valve title on my iMac without the need to use Bootcamp is going to be fantastic. So where exactly is this glorious release? We were told April originally, but with the month coming to a close, it’s obviously going to miss that mark.

According to the lastest word from Valve, the release has been pushed back, but given a solid date. May 12th is when Mac users can finally download the client and games. Hopefully in the coming months we’ll start hearing about other developers bringing their titles to Steam for Mac.
