Space Invaders Returns On The Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade

Square Enix tweeted an announcement that brought joy to all of our UFO-hating hearts just recently. Space Invaders Infinity Gene will arrive this September for the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.Finally we get to re-live the old days where we spent our time dismantling alien forces in such a variety of ways.

If you travel to the game’s official site you will see that it displays that release date on the site itself as well as a preview trailer, which looks pretty awesome. We look forward to seeing this vague date turn into a more specific date soon, and then it’s just a twirl of the thumbs until the actual game releases.
