Diablo 3 Beta Is Confirmed

While we didn’t get a confirmed release date for Diablo 3 at Blizzcon this weekend, Lead Designer Jay Wilson did tell us that there will most certainly be a beta for the game. As of right now the beta will be closed, most likely intended for close Blizzard friends and family. These betas do, however, open pretty quickly to the public, so keep your chins up.

Also, Wilson said that Diablo 3 will not support mods, so as to rectify the Starcraft II issue I suppose.

While we don’t exactly know when the beta will be launched, stick with us and we will post as soon as we do.
