Minecraft’s Halloween Update Preview

Even though we’re still about a week away from the much anticipated Halloween update for Minecraft, we were given a short glimpse of what’s to come. The creatures pictured above are called “Ghasts”, and they are a brand new enemy in the Minecraft world. They only appear in the new hellish dimension which players can fast-travel to through using homemade obsidian portals, where the red rocks on the floor, walls, and ceiling can burn forever. Doesn’t that sound fun?

In an early preview, our friends over at PC Gamer checked out the area and all that it has to offer. Head on over for the full preview and prepare yourselves against the Ghasts and ghouls you’re sure to encounter.
