The Tale of the “Haunted Majora’s Mask” Brought Back To Life By Players

Around the net there exists a tale of a hunted cartridge of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask. Stormed up by Jadusable, this creepy tale has functioned somewhat as a cult classic thus far in the video game world. Not only was this media a big hit on creepypasta.com, it also was featured on ARG. Coded messages hidden within Jadusable’s online recent activity log led players into a narrative in which the occupant of the cartridge escaped along with trapping the character of the unlucky person who found it. Tons of players interacted with the game in part by adding comments on the Youtube channel.

Things hit a huge bum in the road when Jadusable announced that the game would be on hiatus due to a lack of funds. Instead of turning away and waiting, players sprouted up out of nowhere, just like the creepy statue, and offered donations to get the game back on track. Jadusable now expects to release the next chapter in the game by the holiday season along with “an interactive video game for download in tandem with the final phase of the story.”

Ooh, it’s so creepy I can’t wait!
