A New Multiplayer Space Combat Game Makes PlayStation Home Enticing

Sony has just released a free-to-play multiplayer space combat game, complete with customizable ships and zer-gravity avatar exploration into their PlayStation Home network.

Hellfire Games’ Novus Prime, the new space combat game, hit the PlayStation Home Network today. The Central Plaza faces the threat of an alien invasion, and it’s up to your avatar to shoot up to the Novus Prime space station to enlist in the fight to keep the virtual world safe for others. Once you arrive on the station you can purchase and upgrade ships in the workshop before taking them out into space to act in battle.

Avatars can also wander around the zero-gravity area, shooting aliens as they enter through the space station’s hull. The game looks amazing. Take a look below.
