Finally, five months after the game’s release, Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty has a playable demo released by Blizzard, and it’s free.
In the demo the first three missions of the Wings of Liberty campaign will be playable, as well as a terran-on-terran solo skirmish. No multiplayer will be available in the demo, but players will have an unlimited amount of time with the demo, and you can play it offline without having to own a Battle.net account.
With that said, the demo is not like the “guess pass” option that Starcraft II offers players, which requires a friend with a trial key, demands a Battle.net account, and is only a timed trial.
Download your own copy of the demo here, and enjoy the great real-time-strategy in all of its glory.
