Level 85 Cap Reached In Cataclysm Before It Hit U.S.

With Cataclysm releasing for World of Warcraft, the level cap was taken from 80 to 85. This very level cap was reached hours before the game even hit streets in the United States. European Paladin Forscience, a female human on the Neptulon server, hit level 85 during the night, which was a couple of hours before the game launched on the East Coast.

Over in Europe players had a nine-hour head start on all of us here in the states, and it took Forscience about six of those hours to reach the level cap. Even with a guild backing you, that’s a hefty impressive run.
