Sony: No 3D For LittleBigPlanet2

The folks at Sony and Media Molecule have had very little to say about whether or not LittleBigPlanet 2 will join in the wagon of other PS3 titles getting 3D support as of late. Finally we have received word from Sony as to the 3D future of LBP2, and that word is no. SCEA Manager of Marketing Mark Valledor responded to a PlayStation Blog commenter by stating, “Sorry, no 3D this time around.”

Word has been sent to Sony and Media Molecule in request for some elaboration on the “this time around” portion of their statement. Does it mean that later installments may include 3D? We anxiously await word on this.
