You Can Now Pre-Order Your Own 3DS At Gamestop

For those of you who have been saving up to finally get your own Nintendo 3DS, I have great news. You can now begin pre-ordering the new handheld system at your local GameStop. The new system is set to release sometime in March of 2011, and shoppers can pre-order it by going into the store – pre-orders online are not available. Usually for items priced such as the 3DS (either unknown or more than $300), GameStop will require a deposit of $50 to reserve your item, but some have been reported charging only $25.

We expect to hear more information about pre-order bundles and pricing at the Nintendo event in New York on January 19th. Until then, get out to your local GameStop and put your deposit down to pre-order your 3DS!
