A new novel is forthcoming, explaining the emotional tale of Andre Ryan’s intriguingly inventive yet inevitably collapsing idea of an underwater utopia. That novel is called Bioshock: Rapture, and it will be available on March 1st.
Sometime around last May small details erupted about this prequel novel, and it was expected to arrive around the same time as Bioshock 2, although the release eventually never happened. At first, Ken Levine was the only one on board to write the epic prequel novel, but soon his part got chopped down to an introductory chapter and John Shirley took the wheel.

Here is a look at the cover art for the book, which I will definitely own. I absolutely love the world created by Bioshock, and I am fascinated with Rapture. The book will retail at $18.47 in hardcover, paperback for $10.19, and on the Kindle for $9.99.
