A Zombie Game Returns, Taking The Life Of A Helpless Little Girl
It’s been over three years since we’ve heard anything about the first-person zombie slasher Dead Island. Now it’s back in the headlines, fully equipped with a trailer that makes your heart pump faster than you ever though possible.
Dead Island was set for a 2008 release on the Xbox 360 and PC when we last heard of it, and now it’s ready to hit stage front and center with one of the most emotional CGI trailers I’ve ever laid eyes on. The trailer shows us a helpless child being hunted by a horde of shambling monsters, and it doesn’t sugar coat the situation.
The game takes place on an island vacation resort, where the survivors must use anything they can find to survive. There are no gun shops around, no rocket launchers, just axes, bats, and whatever else they can find. This game will be an FPS without the S part. I am interested, and want to hear more, but I’ll have to wait.
