New Live-Action Homefront Trailer Is Frighteningly Surreal

Taking a deep, dramatic, intense trailer and putting it to a child’s nursery rhyme isn’t new business. Dead Space 2 came out with a trailer that included “Ring Around the Rosie,” and now Homefront is following in the footsteps, their new trailer being put to “Pop Goes The Weasel.”

But there’s something surreal about the Homefront trailer. It’s live-action and seems more like a commercial you would see on TV about finding homes for the helpless people of a third-world country. When you’re watching you realize, “Oh, that’s our country. That’s home.”
