Parasite Eve Making Its Way To The PlayStation Network
Back in 1998 Square Enix released an amazing survival-horror/RPG for the PlayStation called Parasite Eve. The game revolved around the character you see above, Aya Brea. Unlike other games out there, this one had a lot of scientific backing and an amazing storyline that kept players wanting to know more and more about the origins of the Parasite Eve world.
Now, just in time for the release of the third title in the Parasite Eve series, Square has decided to release the original game on the PlayStation Network as a downloadable title. I find this amusing, as just last week I was upset because it wasn’t on the list of titles available.
Parasite Eve was definitely “unique for its time,” and it still very much is. According to the PlayStation Blog, the game is set to release sometime this week (most likely today with the update). Finally, a classic is coming to the PSN that I absolutely love. Maybe we’ll even see Parasite Eve 2 before too long, eh?
