Catherine Graces Us With Some New Screenshots
IGN just got a sweet new batch of Catherine screenshots, and they are looking great. The screenshots show that the game offers a perfect blend of gameplay with anime-style cinematics. The character design looks seamless, and the gameplay looks definitely reminiscent of the Persona series.
I can’t wait to see what Atlus has in store for us with this adventure RPG. Catherine tells a grim tale of mixing love with folklore and death, throwing a young man named Vincent right into the middle of it all. After his girlfriend starts talking commitment, he decides to ask his friends for help. Before he knows it, he’s right next to a beautiful mistress in bed by the name of – you got it – Catherine. Soon nightmares ensue and Vincent is left fighting for his life.
I am definitely looking forward to playing this game. Atlus is very well known for their RPG/adventure games, and Catherine already seems to be generating buzz. It is set to hit the PS3 and Xbox 360 later this year. For more screenshots from the game, head on over to the IGN gallery.
