Ubisoft has just announced that Child of Eden was coming to the PS3 in Europe on June 17th. In North America, however, the game has been pushed back to a September release according to a statement received by IGN. The Xbox 360 version of the game will still ship on the original June 14th date.
The good news about the later release date is that the game will feature Move support when it arrived. Well, it’s “expected” to anyway. This means that PS3 users will be able to get in on the amazing flailing arms action that the 360 users will have with the Kinect.
Child of Eden is the latest creation from Tetsuya Mizuguchi. It blends the melody of symphonic music with vivid, colorful onscreen images, along with an intense shooting gameplay style. The decision to add Move support is most definitely a great one by Ubisoft, and I look forward to seeing the game perform on both systems.
