If You’re In The New Xbox 360 Beta Program, You’ll Get This
So if you planned on trading in your copy of Halo: Reach just to get the new copy included in the new Xbox 360 beta program then you’re going to be upset. System update testers will be receiving these packages pictured above to their doorsteps during the next week to come. The package includes a beta letter and a warning-covered copy of Halo: Reach.
From what we can gather, there are two types of testers being chosen out there – those who will receive discs and those who will be testing on a downloadable basis. For those who receive the disc, we assume that the system update is included on the disc itself, which was mentioned in the original beta announcement. It appears that Microsoft could be updating the system directly over the internet much like the PSP updates.
