Streets Of Rage Remake Pulled After Sega’s Request

Just recently the Streets Of Rage Remake game that was created by fans and took eight years to complete released to fans worldwide. By request from SEGA, the game has now been pulled, meaning that no one else may download it from the official site. The game’s official website states that they contacted SEGA during the construction of the game via a formal letter, but it seems that the recent press over the game is what got it noticed, and pulled.

No real details have been given for the pull, and SEGA has been contacted for further information on the issue, and we’re awaiting response. SEGA has still offered Streets Of Rage through various means such as Steam, Wii Virtual Console, and disc-based compilations for other consoles.
