F.E.A.R. 3 Multiplayer Trailer Is Here
A new multiplayer trailer for F.E.A.R. 3 has just surfaced, and it’s all about the harvest. The trailer highlights the Soul King multiplayer mode, in which players compete for the harvesting of souls. The aim of the game is to be the player with the most souls captured by the end of the level.
So far the new mode looks pretty interesting. Players start the level as a ghost, able to possess other players. Through possession players can gain access to different weapons and abilities and start collecting souls. Upon death you will lose half of the souls you’ve collected thus far, so you will have to stay on your toes.
It’s good that Day 1 Studios is working harder to promote the multiplayer in the F.E.A.R. series, as it can be a really fun experience. About the trailer, though, I have to say that the guy providing the voiceover for the trailer can go. He just doesn’t seem excited enough when compared to the carnage happening in the footage. Still, the Soul King mode looks like it will be a lot of fun. Check out the trailer below for more on the new mode.
