Ryan Palser takes te credit for creating the amazing piece you see above, which is a real homemade Portal Turret. The turret stands at about 3 feet tall, and even includes a laser-infused eye. Yes, folks, the turret really works. It spits out catchphrases whenever someone walks past. This is the real deal.
Palser has posted detailed build photos on his Flickr page, for those of you who wish to attempt to recreate this magnificent piece of work. All I want to know is how much it would take to get Palser to create one for me. If he could get his hands on a partnership with a manufacturing company, this guy would have it made.
If we ever hear about these things being mass produced we will surely let you all know. I can hear the drool hitting the floors of many computer rooms across the nation. Don’t fret, though, we’re right there with you.
