Square Enix Will Be Distributing Dead Island
Deep Silver just announced that Square Enix will be handling the distribution of the zombie slasher title Dead Island in North and South America when the game releases later this year. The game will be coming to the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Deep Silver was very pleased with their choice, voicing their opinion of the company.
Geoff Mulligan, Deep Silver’s CEO stated that, “Square Enix’s impressive distribution and marketing capabilities, combined with their proven success with launching top-notch AAA titles, makes them the absolute best partner for Dead Island.” Square Enix is very well-known for their top-rated titles, and Deep Silver made a great choice in having the company handle the distribution of their first major title.
Square Enix was also happy to be doing business with Deep Silver, saying that they are “thrilled to be partnering with their dedicated and talented team, and look forward to collaborating with them in order to bring Dead Island to gamers.” I can’t wait to pick up Dead Island. More than likely the game will start handing out nightmares immediately, but they will be well worth it.
