Zelda and Link, Legendary Samurai
This is one samurai saga that I would love to see. Luis Santiago brings us the two fabled heroes of the Zelda saga, Link and Zelda herself, as samurai warriors. He even managed to re-imagine the Master Sword in kitana form.
I would enjoy seeing the Zelda series told in an epic samurai saga. I can see amazing pastel graphics, much like Okami. Everyone would underestimate Link and talk down to him, only to find themselves beheaded in a moment’s notice. Link would fight great, huge monstrosities, and he could take a million hits without dying!
Seriously though, Santiago did an amazing job with this piece. He has his own page on deviantART, where more of his work can be found. I, for one, would like to see more characters from Hyrule samurai-ified this way. What about you?
