Halo Blurring Together

Halo had me hooked within ten minutes of Combat Evolved. Then, I impatiently waited for the release of Halo 2,3, ODST, and Reach. Each game ensnaring me deeper and deeper into the Halo universe. With news of Halo 4 released this week at E3 and Bungie nowhere in sight, I find myself lacking the unparallelled excitement and anticipation I’ve had for past titles. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for the new Halo title but, not as much as I normally am.

Calling me a Halo fanatic is a serious understatement. I have the UNSC logo tattooed on my shoulder and custom airbrushing on my car. Three of my pets have Halo names (Sarge, Noble and Master Fins), and I know Halo facts that would leave me “girlfriend-less” for ages, (good thing I’m engaged).

After purchasing every Legendary Edition available, I’m questioning whether I will make that faithful $150 purchase.

The more I think about  Halo: CE, 2 and 3, I notice that in each game you start on a ship or end with a mad dash in a Warthog, if not both. From the looks of it, Halo 4 starts the same way. I am seriously starting to wonder if Halo is just becoming a cash cow for Microsoft. What about you?
