Net Loot: Portal 2’s “Want You Gone” Covered, In Metal
The Portal series is known for its catchy end tunes, what with “Still Alive” achieving cult status among the gaming community. Portal 2’s “Want You Gone” is no different, as it’s already been a great hit in the industry. Youtube user FamilyJules7x thought the very same thing, and he set out to make the song that much better by adding his own twist to it.
The video that you see below is of Jules, playing the entire song on electric instruments in a metal barrage. The video and song are both arranged perfectly, and the electric guitar makes the lyrical portion of the song stand out like never before.
