Paradox Interactive Announces King Arthur: Fallen Champions

Paradox Interactive came together with Neocore Games today to announce their latest gaming endeavor, King Arthur: Fallen Champions. This title is a standalone entry in the King Arthur series, and it bridges the gap between King Arthur and the upcoming sequel King Arthur II.

As a strategy RPG, the game features three unique heroes, each with their own storyline featuring adventure quests and epic battles. These heroes come in the form of a knight, a prophet, and an enchantress – each on their own heroic quests. Sir Lionel, a brave knight from Britannia, is on a quest to rescue a damsel in distress. Lady Corrigan of the Sidhe, an enchantress of the twilight, is seeking t he secret pathways that will lead her back to her lost home of Tir na nOg. Drest the Chosen, a prophet of the North, is drawn by the mystic voices and visions to explore the wild lands. Tied together by strings of fate, these three heroes must join hands in order to prevail as champions of a forgotten battle that began long time ago.

The game is set for a third-quarter 2011 release, so it shouldn’t be too long until we see the game on retail shelves. For more information on the title, and to see more screens, head to the game’s Official Site. King Arthur: Fallen Champions looks like a very promising title, and I am looking forward to seeing more from Paradox on what the title has to offer.
