Top Gun: Hard Lock Announced

Top Gun makes a triumphant return next spring with 505 Games’ Top Gun: Hard Lock. The game takes the classic, and re-imagines it in an all new form. Based on Paramount’s Film, Hard Lock follows a storyline that highlights a new wave of naval aviators fresh out of the Top Gun academy.

The game will include aerial dog fights, insanely fast jets, and a game mode that has players performing air combat maneuvers that challenge the player at every point. Hard Lock features tons of licensed aircraft, weapons, and more than enough enemies to test out the F-14’s weapon systems on.

Top Gun: Hard Lock will release in the Spring of 2012. Paying tribute to an old classic is always great, and this game is sure to put players right in the cockpit to glory. Look for the game to dominate your airspace next year on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
