Minecraft Update 1.7 Is Out
Minecraft’s latest update, 1.7, is now live on all servers. The update brings the new piston mechanism that can be used for numerous things, such as opening doors, dropping stairs, and more. The patch originally had a couple bugs, that have since been fixed. Of course that is always expected.
Below you can see the trailer, which shows the new pistons in action. Notch conducted a survey via Twitter, and decided to update the game and offer these mechanisms specifically. It’s nice to see the fans getting what they want, and Mojang surely doesn’t disappoint.
With this new patch live, I wanted to usher a discussion question. What sort of adventures do you conduct in Minecraft? What sort of player are you? Do you simply survive, or do you live to make the most majestic and intuitive creations the world has seen?
