Resistance Dual Pack Now Available, Includes DLC
Resistance 3 is still set to release on September 6th, and believe it or not some players still don’t know much about the Resistance series. That’s what Insomniac Games had in mind when they announced the new Resistance Dual Pack, which packages the first and second games together. This is an opportunity for new players to get into the game before the third entry releases later this year.
The Dual Pack will be priced at $39.99, which puts the games at about $20 a piece. I know what you’re thinking, and it is true that both games are already around that price. However, the pack also includes some bonus DLC that you can’t get with those cheaper copies. By picking up the Resistance Dual Pack, players will have access to the Resistance 2 Aftermath map pack, a Wraith weapon skin, and a separate skin bundle. Also included in the pack is an exclusive Joseph Capelli SRPA skin which can be used in Resistance 3.
If you haven’t taken the time to play through the first two Resistance games, which are amazing, then I suggest you pick this up and get to it before Resistance 3 hits in September. Some great moments have happened during the game’s story that you’ll need to experience before tackling the final title. With the addition of the exclusive skin for the third game, the Dual Pack makes itself a great buy, which is kind of insulting if you don’t pick it up.
