This Is The Only Clue We Get For The New Soul Calibur V Characters
Two new souls will be added to those who are taking up the quest to obtain Soul Edge’s power in Soul Calibur V. Later this month at Comic-Con we’re promised a reveal of these new characters, but for now these silhouettes are all we get.
Daishi Odashima tweeted the teaser, along with the message, “Show anymore & I’m in trouble.” To me, one looks reminiscent of Kilik, the fighter who utilizes the bo staff, while the other looks sort of like Tali, a small female who dances around the stage with bladed tonfa. Kilik has been around since the first Soul Calibur, while Talim made her debut in Soul Calibur II.
The two new characters could be brand new entirely, or they could be offspring of existing characters in the game. After all, Soul Calibur V takes place 17 years after the events of its predecessor. Though we have some ideas, we’ll have to wait until Comic-Con from July 20th-24th to find out. That being said, who do you think they could possibly be?
