FortressCraft Rakes In Over $1 Million

Every popular game has it “look alikes” and Minecraft is no different. Not too long ago FortressCraft debuted on Xbox Live’s Indie channel. The game never looked all that different from Minecraft, which is probably because it’s not. Since however Minecraft is not yet on a console, FortressCraft was your main option for console-crafting.

FortressCraft has now officially broken the $1 million dollar mark, and Projector Games also states that 350,000 copies have been sold (that’s a tenth of the amount of Minecraft copies sold, which is still in Beta by the way) which still makes it the bestselling Indie channel game ever.

Although it can be frustrating to see imitations it’s still nice to see success in the video game world. Have a different opinion, let us know.
