From its look to the way it sounds, the Warthog has been one the most recognizable items in the Halo franchise. The Warthog is easily one of the toughest vehicle in any video game. With so much information about it in the expanded universe it is definitely more than a truck. Almost any dedicated Halo player/enthusiast can tell you what LRV stands for (light reconnaissance vehicle).
So you have used the “Hog” to race against the Flood, the Covenant, and Even other Spartans in multiplayer, but are you ready to pit the Warthog up against some of the fastest cars the real world? If you are hankering to get behind the wheel that’s too bad because come October this year the Warthog will only be available to view, (thats right look but not touch)in Forza Motorsport 4. The video shows a new type of Warthog, the M12 FAV or Force Application Vehicle. The debut trailer starts with what sounds to be Cortana speaking about the Warthog and its durability and then goes on to tell a story about the “Hog”. It ends with one last look at the FAV, then the Forza logo and finally the words “Available starting October 2011”.
I don’t think I have been this excited for a racing game in some time. Racing games are always fun, but I find them to get old after a while but with the Warthog, I will be there to pick up Forza 4 at midnight.
