GameStop PowerUp Members Will Get The Animated Series Batman Skin Free For Arkham City
We already know that Batman: Arkham City will have a number of different skins for not only the Bat, but his faithful sidekick as well. So how will you unlock these new suits? As much as we would all like to believe that it can be done by completing various in-objectives, we know that in this day and age, there are two main ways that you will get them: Pre-order bonuses and microtransactions.
We now know that you can get your hands on the Animated Series skin exclusively through GameStop. What’s interesting is that it doesn’t appear to be a pre-order bonus at all. According to their site, you’ll be able to unlock the skin simply by being a PowerUp Rewards member. The best part is that they don’t even mention the need to be a Pro member, which means that the skin is more or less free to anyone.
We’ll need to find out a bit more info on this, as it does sound too good to be true. Granted, GameStop is running a pre-order bonus for the game, which gets you an extra challenge map. But if their site is to be believed, you can pre-order and buy the game anywhere, and still get your Animated Series skin from them for free, just for being a member.
