Call of Duty is one of the most profitable and popular game franchises around. Black Ops alone sold 23 million copies and close to20 million DLC map packs in nine months. Even with some saying the games are repetive I see no decline in popularity anywhere in site. Mainly because repetive or not the game is fun, and that’s what I along with most gamers find important, not graphics, not story line, but the amount of fun I have while playing(take Minecraft for instance).
The trailer I bring to you today is more or less a story of sorts, a story of frustration and the empty victory that we as FPS online gamers have all felt. Have you ever been playing a competitive online match and you’re kicking major butt, however there is one player that just seems to keep killing you, almost intentionally. You never seem see him until its too late and then he runs past the camera almost mockingly. Well that is what this trailer is about, One player’s strife to rack up kills and finally kill the lone agitator and achieve personal gratification.
The trailer is real-time from the looks of it and is well directed. It really does a good job of telling the story. It seems to lean toward cinematic and not gameplay footage. Whether you play COD or not im pretty sure you can relate to this video (providing you an online gamer). Ienjoyed it, I hope you do too.
