Playstation Tablets Soon To Hit The Market

Sony and its Playstation Brand have just about every aspect of the gaming market covered; from console to phones they are hitting everything. Now to finish locking it in there is the new Playstation tablets, set to debut the first model later this month.

For now most specifics are pretty hush hush but we do know that there is two models set to drop. One being a standard type tablet, it will be called the Tablet S (formaly the S1). Then there is the strange folding tablet which looks to be a rather well sized folding device, no tiny tablet here. No word yet on its name but I am expecting Sony to be as unoriginal as they were with so many other products (cough PS1, 2, 3, portable).

Said to hit this month the Tablet S will be around $500 and of course have downloadable PS1 games. As for the folding tablet we can only guess on its price and release date. With just about every company having a tablet, it no surprise that Sony has jumped in the game; I just hope they do it well.
