PlayStation Vita Release Date Announced For The US

There seems to be a large amount of games in development for the PS Vita, but we had no idea when it would be coming to us. Sony has finally decided to break the silence by giving us a set date to look forward to.

Mark your calendars for February 22, 2012, because that’s when the PS Vita will be hitting the shelves in the US, Canada, Latin America, and Europe. That means you can play for a solid 10 month period before the world is supposed to end.

If you are at all interested in getting this new-fangled device when it hits stores, be prepared to spend $249 for standard Wifi, or $299 for the AT&T 3G model. Also keep an eye out for any games you want to get as its’ looking like big hitters such as Assassin’s Creed, Resistance, and Call of Duty will be available to play in the future.
