Minecraft Weeping Angels Mod

Sometimes it’s the things you don’t see that are the most terrifying. If you have ever seen the weeping angels episode of Dr. Who, then you know just how awful not being able to see your enemy can be. If you thought the Endermen were terrifying, think again, because these things are worse…much worse.

The mod is aptly named Weeping Angles, and it put these horrid stone aliens into Minecraft. In the show, they whisk you away to a different time, and feed off of the potential life that you could have had in that time line. (wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey) In this Minecraft version, they are just out to kill you. Plain and simple. Though they may look like boring blocky angels, you had better not take your eyes off of them even for a second. They move noiselessly and only when they’re not being observed. This is the absolute opposite of the Endermen, but it’s much scarier as you have no warning if you don’t spot them in the distance first.

You can only kill them with an iron pickaxe, which thankfully most everyone has. You can give your thanks to a_dizzle for this nightmarish masterpiece of a mod by downloading it in the Minecraft forums. I have no idea why you would do that to yourself, but have at. And remember, DON’T BLINK!
